A prize established to honour Adolfo Amidei, the mentor who recognised and educated the young Enrico Fermi. It is awarded to those who have identified and supported exceptional young people through sustained personal effort.

We plan to sponsor hundreds of Fermi Poker events at schools and universities around the world to mark Enrico Fermi’s 125th birthday this year. Fermi Poker is a game combining Fermi estimation with poker mechanics. The aspiration is to build a global talent identification system, finding young people who think quantitatively, revise their beliefs when the facts change, and are adept at taking the perspective of others.
